a small fortified town
Victoria can be visited over 1/2 day, especially to see the citadel and admire the panorama and also the cathedral which is really very beautiful, it's worth the 5€. In the citadel, the little lace shop is very nice for admiring local crafts.
Some souvenir shops, the place of the basilica St George to have a drink, the Villa Rundle if you want to take a walk in a nice park, here you go!
Most shops are closed between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. for siesta, but of course souvenir shops and supermarkets remain open.
Lots of restaurants but not really great... try a ricotta pastizzi at 60 cents or an Aurora sandwich for a cheap meal, a burger or an English breakfast at Dias if you are really hungry
Victoria Bay is the bus terminal so you will pass there often
Be careful here, you drive on the left and the courtesy towards pedestrians is very average.
The sidewalks are narrow, irregular or even non-existent so avoid heels, flip-flops or 2€ sandals.
The coast for the citadel gives a little hot but accessible to all
