From Mgarr to Mgarr Ix-Xini
A beautiful hike that allows you to have a very nice view of the southern coast to the small pebble beach of Mgarr Ix-Xini. Ideal route for walking and cooling off at the many accesses to the sea; moreover the walk is safe even if the Mistral blows.
We see the coast, rocky beaches, fields.
A very beautiful rocky beach is accessible by a small path on the left going down between the parking lot of Xatt-L-Ahmar and Ras il-Hobz (you can see it from above)

Terrace on arrival at Mgarr Ix Xini but the ideal is to bring the picnic because there are plenty of very uncrowded and wild rocky beaches

Departure from Mgarr (ferry) and arrival at Mgarr Ix-Xini then return by Bolt. Possible to do the route in the other direction

4km course from one point to another, accessible to all but downhill by a fairly steep and narrow staircase at the end, rather do the course in the other direction if you are very dizzy. The path is also rather narrow and with stones.
FROM MGARR TO MGARR IX-XINI
a beautiful view of the coast
From the ferry, exit onto the road and turn left, the beginning of the path appears on the right (on the left is the entrance for the cars going on the ferry).
Then you can follow the path closest to the coast.
To access the beautiful pebble beach, follow the access to the diving spot and take the small path on the left.
You can also start from Mgarr Ix-Xini to finish the hike near the ferry and possibly continue with the route to Hondoq Ir Rummien.
